There is keen media interest, and it’s no wonder because year after year NATURE ONE is awarded the accolade of being the most popular festival for electronic music. 60,000 young people from all over Europe party together totally peacefully for four full days. But for some of the TV stations “good news” is worthless; they only look for “bad news”. And if they don’t find any, they make it up. Some of the coverage you hear is totally one-sided, and facts are twisted and unimportant matters blown up out of all proportion. Ratings instead of the truth!? The popular TV magazine programmes create and fuel prejudices.

NATURE ONE, however, is a unique setting for a peaceful and happy get-together. The authorities confirm: there is no violence at NATURE ONE and it is far safer than many other festivals or even German cities. We all know it – we are all proud of it – raise the flag – The flag keeps flying.

20 per cent of the visitors to NatureOne come from abroad, with all the European nationalities represented. They stay in the CampingVillage, one tent next to the other, with their own national flag hoisted. Elsewhere there are national hostilities; here people are friends. Elsewhere there are punch-ups; here there is love. Everyone speaks the same language – the language of music, of tolerance and of open-mindedness. Joyful European unity is lived and celebrated. You report about this spirit in the Communities, on Twitter and in your home towns and countries. You are ten thousand event reporters with an eye for what really matters. And the flag keeps flying.

The DJs from around the world hold up the flag for these values too. They come from such countries as the USA, Holland, Israel, Italy, Great Britain and Austria. They take their impressions of this unique festival back with them to Tel Aviv, London, New York and Berlin. And they provide the hymns for the flags. Moguai will be appearing for the first time as a LiveAct. With Gareth Emery, Dash Berlin and Filo & Peri, three top trance acts will be giving their NatureOne debut all at the same time. Erman Erim and “W.I.R.” produced one of the most successful tracks in 2009. But what would NATURE ONE be without the all-stars Chris Liebing, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox and the more than 300 club-floor DJs from over 25 countries?

And the NatureOne flag flutters in the summer wind borne by your hearts, your minds and your freedom. Nobody needs to salute; the only thing required is to have fun. The flags keep flying – let them fly!
